ReelWorld Film Festival’s 10th anniversary Opening Night Gala will take place at Scotiabank Theatre at 7:30pm Wednesday, April 7th 2010.
Our opening film, Off World, was shot on location in Manila and follows a young man searching for his birth parents in the slums of Smokey Mountain. The film is a much anticipated feature from acclaimed writer, director and co-producer Mateo Guez. Bryon Wong, also a co-producer, composed the music and helped to enlist David Usher as the film’s narrator.

Alunsina: A Clutch Exhibit. The Kapisanan Philippine Centre for Arts & Culture in Toronto, presents ALUNSINA: A Clutch Exhibit, featuring works by: Kristina Guison, Daryl Anne Panganiban, Desiree Gamotin and Flerida Peña. The exhibit is based upon reflecting the creative spectrum of four young Filipina artists showcasing visual art, installation, film, photography, music and performance.
