This past Sunday, Sing For Your Heart finalists sang once again in front of the judges and audience to see who would go home as winner. Sing For Your Heart (Young Asian Singing Competition) began its first round auditions on April 17th and was open to young people of the asian community in the GTA.
The finalists included 6 young Filipinos (Alicia Jageshar, Genesis Ruiz, Marylou Malicdem,
Michael Masangkay, Vince Villanueva & Yzabelle Sanico). The winner, Joey Than (Cambodian/Chinese) took home first place and was followed up by 2 Filipinos, Vince Villanueva and Alicia Jageshar. The final winner was Michael Masangkay who won the Popularity title.
1st Place – Joey Than (Cambodian/Chinese)
2nd Place – Vince Villanueva (Filipino)
3rd Place – Alicia Jageshar (Filipino/Guyanese)
Popularity – Michael Masangkay (Filipino)
