Job Title: General Labour
Department: Sandblast/Paint
Reports to: Paint Shop Foreman
Position Overview
We are currently recruiting general labour for Sandblasters/Paint Preppers. This position will also include general yard work and will assist in all other departments as needed.
Duties
Understand and set up the sandblasting machine, a
ls to perform daily maintenance on machine; blast components to the specified profile; to prep components for paint; i.e. masking, caulking and wiping; to keep yard organized by communication with the foreman and warehouse personnel as to where items should be stored; to keep shop clean and tidy; be willing to work in other areas of production as the need arises; etc.
Other Skills/Abilities
Ability to work alone or in a team setting and must hold and maintain a Valid Class 5 Drivers Licence.
We have a strong focus on safety and high standards for work safe procedures as performed by all employees.
Hours a Week: 40hrs minimum a week + overtime when needed (time and a half)
Start and End Time: 7:30am-4:00pm
